SSC GD Constable 2022:  Staff Selection Commission has invited applications for SSC GD Constable 24365 posts, candidates can apply till November 30 at the official website – ssc.nic.in.

Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Armed Border Force and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) under Union Ministry of Home Affairs – “A’ Constable (General Duty)” post, ‘Rifle Man’ in Assam Rifles 24,369 candidates are being recruited for (General Duty) posts and Sepoy posts in the Narcotics Control Bureau.
Recruitment to these 8 forces will be done on an all-India basis through the Central Staff Selection Commission. First there will be an online written exam. If successful there will be physical test, physical ability test and medical test.

Staff Selection Commission has activated SSC GD Constable Notification 2022 online link on its official website on 27 October 2022. SSC GD Constable Notification 2022 Last date to fill application form is 30 November 2022.

Time Limit: Till 30th November, 2022.
What to keep: (1) A valid E-Mail Id (2) Scan passport size color photograph (between 4 to 20 KB) and signature (between 1 to 12 KB).

How to fill-up the form:
First go to the website and submit all the information, the name will be registered. Then 100 rupees for examination fee should be deposited through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, BHIM or State Bank of India.
Fees must be deposited online by 1st December but challan will be generated by 30th November.
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Women and Ex-Servicemen need not deposit any fee.

Every candidate must pay an SSC GD Constable application fee of Rs. 100/ to register.
Women & candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from paying the online application fee.

Educational Qualification:  At least Madhyamik pass students can apply for this post.

SSC GD Constable 2022 | Age Limit

Age should be between 18 to 23 years as on 1-1-2023 i.e. date of birth should be between 2-1-2000 to 1-1-2005. O.B.C. Community candidates will get 3 years, schedulers 5 years and ex-servicemen and departmental personnel will get age relaxation as usual.

SSC GD Constable 2022| Physical Standard Test

Body Size: Body size should be at least 170 cm for boys.
162.5 cm for Scheduled Tribe candidates, 165 cm for candidates from Assam, Tripura, Mizoram and hill regions and 160 cm for Naxalite dominated candidates from Tripura and Sikkim.
And chest 80 cm is not inflated. and full 85 cm (78 and 83 cm respectively in hilly areas).

Height for women is at least 157 cm.

150 cm for Scheduled Tribes, 155 cm for Assam, Tripura, Mizoram and Hill Tribes.
Distance vision required is 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other eye. N6 in good eye and N9 in bad eye.

Weight: Weight should be commensurate with height and age. Those with broken knees, flat feet, bow feet, blurred vision, inability to move only left eye, inability to move fingers, varicose veins, any other physical defect, wearing glasses or contact lenses or color blindness are not eligible to apply.

SSC GD Constable 2022 | Selection Process
