WB Primary TET Notification 2023: WB Primary TET Notification 2023 has been published on West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) official website on 13 September 2023 for the post of primary teachers from class I to class V in government aided / Government Sponsored/ lower primary schools. . The WB TET online application process is online on the official website till October 4.

The application process started on September 14, 2023 and will continue till October 4, 2023.

The exam of WB Primary TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) will be held on December 10, 2023.

WB Primary 2023 | Age Limit

Job aspirants should be between 18 to 40 years as on 1-1-2022. Schedules will get 5 years, OBCs 3 years and disabled and ex-servicemen will get normal age relaxation.

WB TET 2023 | Salary

Basic Salary Rupees 28,900. Also get other allowances. Which is published in the primary teacher recruitment notification.

WB Primary TET | Eligibility Criteria 

WB Primary TET 2022 Education Qualification: (a) Higher-Secondary Pass in any stream with 50% marks (OBC, Scheduled Caste, Handicapped, P.S.A., Exempted Category with minimum 45%) and 2 years Diploma Course in Elementary Education (D.L.Ed) can be applied.

(b) Passed in Higher Secondary in any stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate (OBC, Scheduled Caste, Handicapped, P.S.A., Exempted Category with minimum 45%). And 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed.) course boys and girls are eligible to apply.                                                                       

(c) Higher Secondary pass with 50% marks in any stream (OBC, Scheduled Caste, Handicapped, P.S.A., Exempted Category with minimum 45%) candidates with Diploma in Education from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) recognized institutions are eligible to apply.                                                           

(d) Graduates of any discipline with at least 50% marks in B. Ed course pass is eligible to apply.

(e) Candidates who have passed final year examination of 2 years D.Ed course or D.Ed (Special Education) Course / B.Ed Course in NCTE recognized institutions can apply even if their results are not out.

(f) Those boys and girls who have cleared D.L. Ed/ D. Ed (Special Education)/ B. Ed and Part -I examination in 2020-2022 session are also eligible to apply for TET this year.

All the documents to be carried to fill up the form online:
(1) Valid E–Mail id
(2) Valid Mobile No.
(3) Passport size color photo and signature should be scanned. Scan should be in JPG or JPEG format.
(Photo scan should be between 20 to 50 KB and signature scan should be between 10 to 20 KB.)
(4) Madhyamik Admit Card and all Marksheets of Educational Qualification
(5) D.L.Ed./B.Ed Eligibility Mark-Sheet/Part-I Mark-Sheet/Proof of Admission to D.L.Ed./B.Ed Course.
(Scan should be between 5 KB to 100 KB in JPG/ JPEG/ GIF/ PNG format)                                      (6) Voter Card / Aadhaar Card / Pan Card / Passport / Driving License / School-College ID etc.
(7) Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / UPI etc. for fee deposit

By visiting the above website and submitting all the information, the name will be registered.
The examination fee is to be submitted online at:
1) Rs. 200 for General category candidates
2) Rs. 150 for OBC category candidates
3) Rs. 100 in case of Scheduled and Handicapped candidates

After depositing the money, take a print out of the system generated application form.

WB Primary TET 2023 | Selection Process

Candidates will be selected as per West Bengal Primary Teacher Recruitment Rules 2016. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of academic score, marks obtained in training qualification and marks obtained in TET. Then there will be viva-voce / interview and aptitude test.
There are 50 marks for candidate selection.

• 5 marks for Secondary (Madhyamik)
• 10 marks for Higher Secondary
• 15 marks for training Qualification
• 5 marks for Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET).
• 5 marks for Additional Qualification
• 5 marks for Interview
• 5 Marks for Aptitude Test / 5 Marks for Para-Teacher
